· RANGE. Confined to Ghissar-Alai, the W. Pamirs and Badahshan.
· DISTRIBUTION AND VARIATION. The distribution of subspecies is as follows: ssp. honrathi Staudinger, 1882 (= tusovi J.J. et J.L. Shchetkin, 1989) - Ghissar (west); ssp. ernesti Bryk, 1932 (= chaiticus J.L. et J.J. Shchetkin, 1989; = kondarensis JJ. Shchetkin, 1988) - Ghissar (east), Darvaz; ssp. alburnus Stichel, 1907 - the W. Pamirs.
· HABITATS AND BIOLOGY. A rather common but locally occurring butterfly of mountain slopes at 2,500-3,000 m a.s.l. Flight period: June-July. Host plants : Pseudosedum spp.
